Continental to Charge More for Exit Row
Continental Airlines is the latest to add additional charges for premium seats. They just announced that they will now charge more for exit row seats based on the route.
One example is a flight between their hubs in Houston and Newark. Now a seat in the exit row will be charged an extra $59. This all starts on March 17.
This charge is for non-elite members that upgrade to the seat at check in. Elite members will still be able to reserve seat at n charge(for now).
Continental joins other airlines charging for more room or premium seats.
